An Extimate Relationship

Depicting the uneasy relationship between the city dweller and the urban environment, this experimental short film draws on their relationship as an extimate bond. "Extimacy" becomes the projected identity of the subject on her environment, as well as the presences of the most foreign of bodies in her innermost self. A duality between the wanderer and the city that is activated through trajectories, portals and gaps. Parts of the narration are from "Poet in New York" by Federico García Lorca.
